Access to Brno
Express trains run from Prague to Brno and from Vienna to Brno.Trains to Brno from Prague (Praha hlavni nadrazi; Prague main station) are available about once in every hour (18EUR for 2nd class, duration is 2h40m).Trains to Brno from Vienna depart from Wien Hauptbahnhof (Vienna main station) and from Wien Meidling, about once in every two hours (26EUR for 2nd class, duration is 1h30m). Tickets can be purchased at a counter in ‘Reisezentrum’ (travel center), not at a vending machine.Beware that you may have to change trains, while some trains go directly.

Miscellaneous information
[Water with/without gas] When you want to buy water with or without gas, remember that ‘perliva’ in Czech means sparkling water and ‘neperliva’ means still water.
[Exchange rate] As of Aug. 20 2015, 1 CZK buys 5.12 JPY and 100 CZK buys 3.7 EUR.
